We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
•Originates, negotiates and closes large scale, seasonal and long term positions in electric and/or gas capacity and energy, and Commodities (natural gas, coal biomass, fuel oil, and emission Reduction Products) coordinated closely with the company's operational and strategic plans.
•Develops and maintains excellent relationships with key wholesale customers, internal customers, suppliers and transportation providers while developing a portfolio of contracts/assets closely coordinated with the company's operational and strategic plans.
•Contributes to the development of forward long-term price curves used in company plans while successfully implementing a hedging strategy for Dominion assets.
•Coordinates with Legal, Risk Management, Credit, Tax, Insurance and Business Development to negotiate and finalize agreements.
•Negotiate, manage and provide commercial guidance for new and existing long-term agreements while providing market/trading expertise and identifying risks during business development due diligence efforts.
•Review generation forecasts, coordinate generation adjustments and track outages and curtailments.
•Acts as the lead for origination activities. Closely monitor market activities and trends to advise senior management regarding hedging opportunities. Successfully implements hedging strategies for Dominion assets. Coordinates and participates in wholesale load-serving procurements for basic service in open-access markets (Power specific).
•Manages analysis of deal valuation inclusive of quantitative and qualitative deal terms.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
•Minimum 7 years experience in sales, operations and/or trading related commodities, 8 years experience preferred.
•Extensive background of energy trading and pricing physical and financial energy products, generation, transmission and/or transportation and storage issues.
•Thorough knowledge of option theory.
•Strong knowledge of rules and practices in the PJM, ISO-NE, MISO and CAISO electric markets, OTC markets, domestic and international commodity markets and exchanges and physical commodity markets including a thorough understanding of various regulatory (FERC, NERC, Dodd-Frank) requirements.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills with the confident ability to communicate with management regarding key issues and markets.
•Ability to negotiate master agreements with proven negotiation and closing skills.
•Leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance for operational groups and mitigate risks.
•Expert knowledge of hedging spreads (spark, dark, basis, time, etc.).
•Skilled in managing deal approval process involving credit, risk management, deal valuation, accounting treatment, legal review and regulatory compliance (state and FERC).
•Strong working knowledge of FERC and state rules as well as process for structured transactions in relevant commodity.
•Ability to maintain a positive, team oriented environment while achieving high levels of performance.
