Primary Purpose Of Position
The Senior Manager, Infrastructure Protection goal is to improve, maintain and create new processes for physical security infrastructure effectiveness in equipment reliability, maintenance, innovation, to include AI technology, and life cycle management in a cost-effective manner while developing the next generation of infrastructure protection leaders. This role also provides oversight of infrastructure projects, physical security policy, regulatory compliance, and collaborates with both internal business unit partners and external industry peers including regulatory agencies.
Reports to the Director, Corporate Security, in providing oversight of the Infrastructure Protection and Physical Access Management, and to provide daily oversight of security portfolios and projects for all Constellation practice areas.
Develop, maintain, and support physical security governance and controls for the enterprise, to include a security management system, security GOSP, security controls based upon industry best practices and standards, security controls health metrics, security management model process and approvals, and access governance steering committee support. Develop, maintain, and support the management of the infrastructure protection initiatives, including the use of AI technology, remediation of identified risks, audit findings, and efforts. Develop, recruit, and retain a diverse, capable, high-performance security work force in the development and implementation of security/security-related physical modifications and maintenance to support long term asset management strategies.
Evaluate performance and provide personnel coaching. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, innovation, and a learning organization. Provide input on development and retention processes. Influence the physical security field through participation and leadership in industry and trade associations, and organizations. Other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities
•Develop and lead security technologies program strategies integrated physical security system compliant with Constellation physical security standards to effectively protect critical infrastructure assets.
•Development of robust physical strategies on security technology systems in production as well as new technology evaluations, utilizing AI technology as applicable.
•Through GOSP functions, identify, provide, and manage corporate and site-specific corrective measures and countermeasures to shore up identified vulnerabilities and weaknesses to assure full compliance with the Physical Security Program.
•Ensure consistent and effective work force practices through assigned staff and that activities are accomplished within budget and executed in accordance with the business plan.
•Oversight of the Infrastructure Protection and Physical Access programs to ensure the company's assets are effectively protected and compliant with applicable regulatory standards.
•Ensure the program can effectively respond to and recover from identified vulnerabilities.
•Oversight of the development and implementation of strategies for Infrastructure Protection and Physical Access to protect the company's physical assets, personnel and infrastructure.
•Collaborate with various departments, including IT, HR, Corporate Communications, Legal, and Ethics to integrate security measures and ensure compliance with regulations.
•Develop and implement the strategic goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the various security programs.
•Collaborate with Corporate Security leadership to prioritize initiatives and resource needs.
•Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, and ensures training is developed and delivered.
•Lead efforts to integrate emerging tools and technologies, to include AI Technology.
•Provide leadership and guidance to managers and junior team members,
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
•Author written reports, deliver presentations, and perform oral briefings to communicate security findings and recommendations to senior and executive management.
•Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance the company's security posture.
•Operate in a responsive, courteous, and professional manner; provide a consistently high degree of customer satisfaction and sound business relations.
•Act as a liaison to enterprise-wide security teams, providing risk and threat assessment as well as program analysis as it relates to infrastructure protection and physical access management.
•Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and manage complex situations.
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 8-10 years of experience in integrated physical security systems preferably within the energy sector or critical infrastructure industries.
•Strong project management experience with large scale, multi asset efforts.
•Systems knowledge: ExacqVision Video platform, Tyco CCure Software House Access Control, Video Analytics, DMP Burglar Alarm Systems, other outdoor detection hardware.
•Experience in the design, development, implementation, and management of electrical/digital asset strategies and business initiatives
•Experienced in defensive strategy assessments.
•Demonstrated experience in leadership and management roles.
•Strong communication skills, both written and oral Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
•Ability to work effectively under high dynamic, fast paced environments
•Ability to rapidly display flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions.
•Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
•Ability to effectively lead and mentor managers and supervisors.
•Ability to effectively collaborate and present to other professionals and/or senior leadership in a concise and confident manner.
Preferred Qualifications
•10+ years of experience with integrated physical security systems
•Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Access Control Administrator, Project Management Professional (PMP), or comparable industry designations
•Proficient in: ExacqVision Video platform, Tyco CCure Software House Access Control, Video Analytics, DMP Burglar Alarm Systems, other outdoor detection hardware.
•Ability to use AI Technology.
