Sr. Human Resources Generalist - 13Month Contract

Matalco Canada Inc. operates a manufacturing facility in Brampton, Ontario and is seeking qualified a_ HR Manager for a 13-month contract._The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing all HR functions within the organization and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

- Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations processes

- Oversee employee benefits programs and ensure accurate record-keeping

- Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR metrics and reporting

- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program management efforts

- Utilize HRIS systems such as Ceridian effectively

Skills

- Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and HR best practices

- Strong knowledge of HR systems and proficiency in SAP, Ceridian, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Kronos

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Demonstrated capability in process improvement and change management

- Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting

- Familiarity with recruiting processes and compliance requirements
