Leads the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise data infrastructure. Use experience and expertise to build the foundational architecture that will support reporting, analytics, machine learning, and automation across all business departments. Data architecture responsibilities including build pipelines and optimize data platforms, define standards, select technologies, and act as the organization’s data strategy leader. - Design and implement a scalable data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and operational data stores.
- Lead the development of scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using cloud-native or hybrid infrastructure.
- Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, governance, version control, and access management.
- Set strategic direction for data platform tooling, architecture choices, and vendor selection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and design reusable data products that serve analytics and operations.
- Own and manage data lifecycle processes including ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, monitoring, and retention.
- Serve as a mentor to junior engineers and analysts; establish internal documentation and onboarding guides for data systems.
- Partner with executive leadership to define data strategy, roadmap, and KPIs aligned with business priorities.- The Data Systems Analyst will have no employees reporting to this position.
- As assigned by the EVP Business Intelligence and Analytics
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or architectural leadership capacity.
- Proven experience building or refactoring data platforms in cloud or hybrid environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong experience with modern data stack tools .
- Deep understanding of SQL, data warehousing, data modeling, schema development , and API integration.
- Experience working with manufacturing OT systems a plus
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD for data, infrastructure-as-code, and process documentation.
- Experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or familiarity with ERP/MES systems is a strong plus.
- The Data Analyst will have minimal required travel.
- The Data Analyst may be required to work overtime as needed.
