The Spray Technician maintains the health and appearance of landscapes and lawns by applying various treatments and pest control measures. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of pest control and lawn care management.
Duties
•
Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to lawns, gardens, and landscapes according to established guidelines.
•
Conduct inspections to identify pest problems and determine appropriate treatment plans.
•
Operate and maintain various equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery used in the application process.
•
Drive to different job sites safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws.
•
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding services performed and recommendations for lawn care.
•
Maintain accurate records of treatments applied, including dates, locations, and types of products used.
•
Follow all safety protocols to protect oneself, clients, and the environment during application processes.
Skills
•
Knowledge of pest control methods and lawn care practices is essential.
•
Experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
•
Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery.
•
Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
