Sports Broadcaster

Job Summary

We are seeking dynamic and skilled Sports Broadcasters to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in journalism with excellent communication and writing skills. As a Broadcaster, you will be responsible for describing sporting events, providing play-by-play analysis and insights for radio, television, or online audiences. You will be required to research players, teams, and also interview coaches, players, and analysts. Commentators must be knowledgeable about the sport they cover, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to think quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

- Providing real-time commentary, describing the action, and offering analysis of plays, players, and strategies.

- Preparing for games by researching teams and players, and then summarizing and analyzing the game's events after it concludes

- Conducting interviews with athletes, coaches, and other relevant individuals to gather information and insights

- Manage social media accounts to promote content and engage with the audience.

- Translate content as needed for bilingual audiences, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.

- Stay updated on current events and trends in journalism and broadcasting.

- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Adobe Photoshop, for graphic creation as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $150.00 per day

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
