About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to develop and implement strategic sourcing strategy and manage local service category to provide procurement support and partnership to Rio Tinto Kennecott (RTK) Operations.

This role will be the key contact for designated category, leading a best for business outcome through ensuring services are provided to site in a safe, cost effective, efficient, and timely manner. Working and reporting to the Procurement Business Partner, you will:

Create and implement strategic sourcing strategy to drive value generation initiatives within defined scope
Prepare bid packages, evaluate bid proposals, perform commercial analysis, create detailed recommendations to award and maintain category strategy implementation
Demonstrate outstanding commercial and contract negotiation skills and be able to lead negotiations and build out complex negotiation plans to implement.
Analyze contracts and identify opportunities to improve/
