Title: Sourcing Recruiter
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Works with: HR & Training Team, PR Team, Branch & Region Operations Teams
Position Description
As a member of the Human Resources Department, the Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and identifying top talent for various positions in our organization with a primary focus on college recruits and field positions.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Understand various roles and responsibilities of entry-level positions throughout organization with heavy focus on college recruiting and field positions.
•Identify, attract, and engage top-tier talent through various channels and create a pipeline of candidates.
•Support the college recruiting program, including coordination of career fair attendance and Ruppert’s internship program.
•Coordinate and participate in the interview process, providing insight and guidance to hiring managers.
•Develop strong relationships with recruiting team and various hiring managers to understand needs throughout the multiple regions and service lines.
•Support the organization by helping to establish recruiting goals and initiatives, including KPIs.
•Monitor industry and professional market trends in recruiting to ensure Ruppert is following best practices.
•Collaborate with team to provide valuable input in support of onboarding and training needs.
•Represent company at industry and community recruiting events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
•1+ years of experience in recruiting and sourcing, and success recruiting for hourly and salaried positions.
•Comfortable and experienced in a fast-paced environment; ability to change course/direction as needed.
•High level of detail orientation, accuracy, and sense of urgency.
•Demonstrated organizational skills, coordination skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact professionally.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and internet resources.
•Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and data to share and foster understanding of recruiting needs.
•Strong relationship building skills.
•Ability to work independently and collaborate with a larger team.
Work Environment:
Work takes place onsite in a clean and comfortable office setting in Laytonsville, Maryland. The noise level in the work environment can range from quiet to loud. Generally, a 40-45 hour week, but could require long hours, including evenings and weekends. Travel to recruiting events (25-30%) is required. Fast paced and working under pressure and with tight deadlines is unavoidable.
