Solar Sales Representative

In this role, you'll play a vital part in helping residential customers get solar for their homes, by providing solar consultations and follow up through the process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market solar systems and energy savings (broker) to Pennsylvania home-owners through canvassing and other outreach efforts

- Work with our division manager and designer to prepare offers; conduct consultations

- Conduct in-person (or online) consultations with homeowners

- Log statuses in CRM and keep in-touch with customers who move forward

- Optional: train and develop other sales team members focused on lead generation for solar installations (not community solar)

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

- Sales Experience: Minimum 1 year, in-home sales experience

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.

- Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

- Technical Aptitude: An ability to grasp technical concepts related to solar energy and explain them in simple terms to customers. Experience working with CRMs, design tools, and online video conferencing software.

- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.

Expected yearly pay with base or draw and minimum commissions: $65,000+ per year, but for experienced sales representatives, the potential is uncapped.
