Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of solar mounting hardware systems, construction practices, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and effective installations. The Solar Installer will work closely with a team to deliver high-quality service while adhering to industry standards.
Duties
•
Install solar panels and related equipment according to specifications and schematics.
•
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and voltmeters to complete installations safely and efficiently.
•
Perform fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely mounted and functioning correctly.
•
Conduct plumb checks to ensure proper alignment of solar panels.
•
Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems as required during installations.
•
Collaborate with team members on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
•
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the job site.
Experience
•
Two years in solar installation or related fields is preferred.
•
Some familiarity with electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and understand wiring diagrams is preferred.
•
Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
•
Experience working on construction sites is advantageous, with an understanding of safety protocols in such environments.
•
A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to solar technology is essential.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
