Solar Installer – Long Island, NY

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Pay: $25–$35 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking motivated and reliable Solar Installers to join our growing team in Long Island, NY. As a Solar Installer, you will play a key role in helping homeowners and businesses transition to clean energy. You’ll work outdoors, on rooftops, and with a team of professionals to safely and efficiently install solar PV systems.

Responsibilities

- Assemble and install solar panels, racking, and related equipment on residential and/or commercial rooftops.

- Safely use hand and power tools while following OSHA and company safety guidelines.

- Measure, cut, and assemble structural framing and solar panel mounting hardware.

- Perform electrical wiring tasks (under supervision of a licensed electrician, if not certified).

- Maintain a clean and organized work site.

- Work with the installation crew to complete projects on time and with high-quality standards.

- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction, roofing, or electrical work preferred (solar experience a plus).

- Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders.

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus but not required (training may be provided).
