Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Solar Installer Apprentice to join our team. This entry level position offers hands-on training and experience in the solar installation field. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a desire to learn the skills necessary to install and maintain solar energy systems.
Duties
•
Assist experienced solar installers install solar panels, inverters and related equipment according to specifications and blueprints.
•
Perform fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely mounted and functioning properly.
•
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to determine installation requirements.
•
Support the team ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
•
Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
•
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Skills
•
High School diploma or equivalency.
•
Strong interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
•
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including heavy equipment.
•
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
•
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
•
