Solar Crew Lead - Dallas/Fort Worth

Position Title: Crew Lead

Primary Objective: The Crew Lead is responsible for effectively leading and training the installation crew through completion of each commercial and/or residential job in a safe and timely manner. They directly communicate job and performance status to Operations Management.

Responsibilities:

- Reviewing plan sets and checking material lists

- Layout and assembly of solar modules, array and mounting hardware

- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment

- Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC & DC)

- Install jobs within a specified timeframe

- Ownership of the quality, timeliness documentation, and safety of each installation

- Clean up of job site

- Additional duties required as needed

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Strong work ethic

- Excellent customer service skills required

- Detail oriented and shows pride in work

- Technical troubleshooting capability

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs of weight frequently throughout the day

- Must be willing to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops

- Must have valid driver license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record

- High School diploma or GED required

- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen

- Must have own hand tools

- OSHA 10 Certification

- TECL Apprentice License

- Verifiable references

- US Citizenship or Work Permit

Physical Demands:Employee is required to walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders and stairs, and work on rooftops.
