Position Specific Description

The person in this role will be the primary owner and software developer on multiple lightweight ETL python applications. These applications all pertain to the valuation and scheduling of wind, solar, and battery technicians’ daily plans. The person will work with business SMEs on identifying problems’ root causes and developing code-based solutions to them. The ideal candidate will be able to learn the nuance of renewable energy management while continuing to deliver on technical. Each day will consist of meeting with stakeholders to understand business needs for the renewable fleet, working with senior developers to enhance and modify existing software products, and developing and procuring those products.

This position writes and tests software to aid in development and support of products. Individuals in this role work with Technical Leads on software system architecture and module design and typically gains experience acting as the owner of a complete module in the system. This position participates in required product development process ceremonies. Employees in this role are responsible for writing and refining technical requirements and technical design documentation.
