About This Job
Join our crew supporting Alaska’s most critical gold mines. We’re hiring skilled stick and MIG welders to repair tanks, piping, and a variety of fixed plant equipment. Earn $28–$34/hr, with overtime opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Perform welding, cutting, and repairs on tanks, structures, and plant equipment as needed.
•
Read and follow drawings to plan and execute next-phase tasks.
•
Use various welding methods, including GMAW and SMAW.
•
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
•
Follow jobsite safety procedures and help keep a clean, hazard-free work zone
•
Assist with other jobsite duties as directed by site supervisors
Requirements:
•
Proficiency with Stick and MIG welding techniques in an industrial environment; D1.1 certification is a plus.
•
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
•
Must have a valid drivers license.
•
Must pass a background check and drug screening (required for mine site access).
•
Flexibility to work extended hours, shifts, and weekends as necessary.
