Site Supervisor – Civil Earthworks Location: Manitoba - multiple project sites
Reports to: General Superintendent

We’re looking for a Site Supervisor to support our growing team. The Site Supervisor (Civil Earthworks) will lead on-site crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with regulations. Leveraging expertise in excavation, grading, hauling, and environmental project work—including landfill gas installation, water works, erosion control, habitat restoration, and stormwater management—this role combines strong leadership with technical know-how to deliver quality results.
- Maintain site safety by ensuring all KBL safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Supervise and direct all site personnel including operators, labourers, surveyors, and subcontractors.
- Manage and efficiently utilize heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, rock trucks, and compactors.
- Oversee all civil earthworks activities (excavation, remediation, and civil construction) to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate closely with the project team to understand technical specifications, follow design drawings, and meet project scope requirements.
- A professional, safety conscious leader with excellent communication skills
- 10+ years of experience in Earthworks, 5 at the Supervisory level- Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Ability to travel on a frequent basis
- Valid industry safety tickets (H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance and CSTS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts, involving physical labour
