Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Site Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities at our TurboFab Facility, ensuring alignment with corporate compliance, business processes, and client requirements. This role manages sourcing for direct and indirect materials, develops supplier relationships, mitigates risk, drives cost savings, ensures material availability, and supports strategic growth and operational excellence. Commodities can include but are not limited to: structural steel, pipe / flanges / fittings, electrical and instrumentation, hardware, outside services, indirect materials, and other facility support.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
Travel:
expect to visit internal production areas and external supplier sites, which will involve domestic and/or international travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop supply chain staff of 5 to 7 people; manage performance, SMART goals, and appraisals.
- Develop and execute site-specific sourcing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate supplier agreements, resolve sourcing issues.
- Manage supplier performance, negotiations, and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with operations, business management, engineering, and planning teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support new product introductions and capital projects from a sourcing/procurement perspective.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Effective communicator and relationship builder.
- Responsive, accountable, and adaptable to change.
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, inventory, and quality management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
- Supply Chain certification (e.g., APICS, ISM).
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification; experience in Lean Manufacturing.
Summary Pay Range:
$120,299.00 - $180,449.00
