Site Administrator

WQS Industrial Service Ltd. (WQS IND) is now recruiting a Site Administrator for the 2025 Turnaround Season, beginning in early August, supporting a major project in the Fort McMurray region. Schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off - 12-hour days

Duration: Approximately August to October

Hour Rate: $35.00 - $38.00/hour

Additional Details: This opportunity is tied to an upcoming project; however, the intention is to continue employment beyond this opportunity, contingent on performance, project availability, and business needs.

What You Will Do

- Complete and submit LEM (Labour, Equipment, Materials) reports in a timely manner.

- Review timesheets and swipe report for accuracy.

- Assist Payroll and Onboarding departments as required from a site level. In turn, providing support to field staff with inquiries related to payroll and onboarding.

- Complete filing at the site level in a cloud filing system.

- Assist with booking travel and accommodations.

- Other administrative duties as require.

What You Will Bring

- A minimum of 3 years experience as a site administrator or in an administrative support role at an Oil Sands site is required.

- Must be able to work on site as this role does not allow for remote work.

- Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.

- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract, Common Safety Orientation & Confined Space Certification are a bonus.

- Solid Verbal and written communication in English.

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
