Reporting to Manager, Natrium Simulator Development, the Simulator Development Intern is responsible for supporting the development of Training Simulator, Natrium (TSN). The Simulator Development Intern will be mentored and trained to perform various analyses to support modeling and simulation of the Natrium Plant Operations. The analyses may involve uses of existing in-house and commercial codes (such as RELAP5) or may involve generation of new codes or augmentation of existing codes. The candidate will also interface with the Safety Analysis, System Analysis and other design groups to collect design inputs for the simulation development.

TerraPower’s technology is controlled for export by various agencies of the U.S. Government. TerraPower must evaluate applicants who are foreign nationals (other than asylees, refugees, or lawful permanent residents) in accordance with U.S. Government export control requirements. Intern pay rate will be commensurate with degree path and academic year completed at start of Internship.
