Overview
We are seeking a skilled vinyl siding Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with the ability to work efficiently on various projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for executing installations that meet our high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
•
Measure and Cut Materials – Accurately measure, cut, and trim vinyl siding panels to fit building dimensions and specifications.
•
Surface Preparation – Inspect, clean, and prepare work surfaces, ensuring proper installation and adherence to safety codes.
•
Installation of Siding – Securely attach vinyl siding panels, trim, and accessories using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure durability and weather resistance.
•
Sealing and Finishing – Apply caulking, flashing, and weatherproofing materials to prevent water infiltration and enhance insulation.
•
Use of Tools and Equipment – Operate hand and power tools, including saws, nail guns, and levels, safely and efficiently.
•
Reading Blueprints and Specifications – Interpret construction drawings, work orders, and manufacturer instructions to ensure proper installation.
•
Ensuring Code Compliance – Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines for installation procedures.
•
Troubleshooting and Repairs – Identify and resolve issues such as misaligned panels, loose fasteners, or damaged siding components.
•
Worksite Safety and Cleanup – Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow OSHA safety guidelines, and dispose of materials properly.
•
Team Communication – Interact professionally with clients, address supervisor concerns, and provide guidance. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
•
Conduct Heavy Lifting - As needed while maintaining safety protocols on the construction site.
Experience
•
Proven experience in vinyl siding installation, exterior remodeling, or related construction work..
•
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, levels, and nail guns, for precise and efficient installation.
•
Experience working with various siding materials, including vinyl, fiber cement, and aluminum, as well as insulation backings.
•
Strong ability to read blueprints and execute tasks accordingly is necessary for success in this role.
•
Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
•
Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts while maintaining safety standards and balance.
•
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is required for all candidates.
