About This Job

Duties & Responsibilities:

•

Visually identify and sort (“pick”) various materials from metal shredder conveyor systems

•

During shredder downtime, perform cleanup & maintenance duties including but not limited to:

+ Shoveling debris + Sweeping debris + Equipment wash down + Greasing + Miscellaneous machine maintenance assistance

Additional details & requirements:

•

Must be able to communicate effectively in English to understand instructions and emergency communications

•

Must be able to stand at picking conveyor for extended periods

•

Picking stations are outdoors with shade covers

•

Must wear minimum PPE at all times including:

+ Hi visibility shirt/vest + Hard hat + Safety glasses + Gloves + Safety-toe shoes
