Job Title: Shovel Technician Location: Ontario Base Rate: $62.50 per hour Overtime (OT): 4 hours daily, paid at $93.75 per hour Schedule: 14x14 - 12-hour days Night Shift Premium: $1.25 per hour Accommodations: Provided at no additional cost to the employee Flights Paid: Yes, flights provided to the location from any major airport in Canada Tools & Truck Provided: Yes, fully tooled service trucks Travel Time: Paid at at 1 hour 1.5x if accommodations are not on-site, up to 8 hours at straight time at each end of your 2-week set Meal Allowance: $60 per day

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and career-oriented Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will primarily work on Komatsu PC 5500 and PC 8000 series shovels, both in the field and in the shop. You will also be required to work on other types of heavy equipment as needed, both in the shop and in the field. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to efficiently and safely complete tasks while maintaining professionalism with co-workers and customers.
