Job Summary

The Shop Technician III is a senior-level technician responsible for leading complex mechanical rebuilds, performing testing, and mentoring junior technicians. This role requires a high level of expertise in oilfield equipment and the ability to work independently on high-value projects.

Duties Include (but not limited to)

•

Advanced mechanical teardown, rebuild, and testing of production equipment

•

Welding, fabrication, and pressure testing

•

Ultrasonic thickness testing (UT)

•

Breaking down and replumbing production units

•

Sandblasting and painting

•

Electrical troubleshooting and minor wiring tasks

•

Operating all types of forklifts and handling heavy equipment

•

Providing mentorship to junior team members

•

Assisting with field work and installations when required

Qualifications

•

Advanced mechanical skills with oil & gas equipment

•

Welding and fabrication experience

•

Familiarity with UT testing and pressure testing

•

Forklift certification preferred

•

Ability to work under deadlines and without supervision

•

Strong leadership and communication skills

•

Tear down, rebuild, test, and refurbish production-based equipment

•

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues

•

Follow all company procedures and safety protocols

•

Be a proactive, self-starting team member who can work independently

•

Support field work efforts as needed
