Job Description
Primary Functions:
•
Understanding and adherence to NFPA, manufacturer requirements and local fire codes for fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems
•
Inspect, maintain, repair and install fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems
•
Maintain and oversee shop operations
•
Take a lead roll in all suppression system installations
•
Represent Fire Equipment Service & Sales (FESSI) in a professional and positive manner
•
Ensure continued communication and cooperation with FESSI staff
•
Follow safety rules and good driving habits
Requirements:
•
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
•
Significant mechanical experience/aptitude
Skills Requirements:
•
Customer oriented interpersonal skills
•
Technical and mechanical knowledge and abilities
•
Must be well versed in the safe use of general hand and power tools
•
Must be able to obtain required Certifications
Essential Functions and General Requirements:
•
Must have regular and punctual attendance
•
Must be able to work independently
•
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
