Shipping Supervisor

Job Summary

inExhaust is an industrial silencer & exhaust systems manufacturer located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are looking for motivated individuals who will make a positive impact on our company and share the excitement of our successes as we continue to grow. The Shipping Supervisor will coordinate and schedule the daily workload of the shipping department to support on time shipping of inExhaust products.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Ensures that employees are properly trained to minimize mistakes and maximize the use of time.

- Coordinates and delegates the daily tasks of the shipping department.

- Collaborates with managers to prioritize and plan shipments to customers, adjusting as needed.

- Verifies that orders are accurately filled by reading shipping documents and confirming that quantities and descriptions are correct.

- Monitor the productivity and efficiency of the shipping team.

- Verifies that shipments are properly packaged and identified with shipping information.

- Maintains organization in the shipping area.

- Promotes teamwork within the shipping department and with other departments.

- Performs other clerical and physical tasks.

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 2-year related experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Knowledge of Microsoft systems

- Ability to multi-task while staying organized

- General knowledge of manufacturing processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
