About the Role

The Shipping and Receiving Team Leader 1 ensures timely and accurate situational awareness of all inbound, out-bound and processing movement of material to/from the Baltimore Plant. The Shipping and

Receiving Team Leader 1 leads the Shipping and the Inventory Specialists to ensure the ERP system

reflects items on hand and outbound shipments are planned in advance.

What You’ll Do

Ensures and assists in, when necessary, all daily warehouse and shipping responsibilities,

including filling and shipping customer orders, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting

documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, ensuring

inventory transactions are accurately recorded, overseeing cycle counts.

Provides for the quality receipt inspections and finished goods audits to ensure adherence to

quantity and quality standards.

Maintains control over in-process inventories and operations.
Maintains records and complete shipping and inventory related paperwork, reports, work order

status, and material labor transfers.

Assists with employee performance appraisals.
Assures all employees are working to defined standards for the department.
Establishes a put-away plan, maintains good housekeeping, and follows established safety

procedures.

Performs any other duties as assigned or directed by Supervisor/Manager. Performs any other

duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader/Supervisor.

Follows all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard

Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis

(JSAs), and Safety Manual.

Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental,

and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe

conditions to the proper personnel.

Additional Expectation

Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group

Compliance Policy.

Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product

Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.

Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management

System.

Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or

any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
3-5 years’ manufacturing and/or supervisory experience required.
Must have basic math skills.
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to operate the following equipment: Forklift, Combi-Lift.
Must have current and valid Driver’s License.
Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
Ability to use online real-time manufacturing control systems, including MAPICS or other current

in-house computer processes.

Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape

measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.

Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work


near moving mechanical parts.
