Full Job Description

A metal supplier to the roofing market based in Lake Mary is looking for an Assistant Machine Operator with experience working in a manufacturing environment. Must be very, very good on 5,000 and 10,000 lb forklifts.

DUTIES INCLUDED, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Work safely and accurately with sheet metal equipment (training will be provided), including a table saw

Operate a 5,000 and 10,000 lb forklift

Work as a team

Read work orders and create production paperwork for office use

Check, pull and prepare raw materials for production, then return materials to storage or stock once production is done.

Band and label material accurately after slitting

Load and unload flatbed trucks

Such other related work as may be required from time to time, including loading and unloading trucks when regular operators are not available.

NO HEAVY LIFTING IS INVOLVED

QUALIFICATIONS: PREVIOUS MACHINE OPERATION (OR RELATED) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

COMPENSATION:

Hourly rate starting at $18– $20/hr, based upon experience
