Production (Milling, Turning or EDM) Pay Range: $22.00 – $24.00
- Organized & Efficient Setup and breakdown of machines.
- Responsible or putting measuring equipment and tools back where they belong
- Responsible for the operation of the machines you’ve setup to run.
- Be able to make offsets (with minimal assistance)
- Establish zeros & workstation positions in machine
- Signing in/out measuring equipment from QC to bring to the shop floor if needed to check parts during operations
- Download programs from computer to the machine you are setting up
- Update and save part program files back to the computer for future orders in correct files
- Review and Verify In-process inspection reports are correct and accurate
- Present new ideas to improve setup/operate a job more accurate & efficient
- Capable of running and setting up a minimum of 2 machines at once as cycle times allow while maintaining efficient machine operation of 80% or better
- Maintain a setup efficiency of 80% or better
- Responsible for part inspection and completion of appropriate reports and the quality of parts ran on setups you’ve setup to run
