Position Summary
As a Service Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new service opportunities across our fire and life safety offerings. You will build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and propose tailored service solutions—ranging from inspections and maintenance contracts to upgrades and emergency support.
Key Responsibilities
•Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and follow-ups
•Conduct site walks and customer meetings to assess needs and create service proposals
•Develop and present customized service agreements for inspection, testing, maintenance, and monitoring
•Collaborate with internal operations, technicians, and design teams to ensure solutions are feasible and deliverable
•Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
•Maintain accurate records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
•Stay up to date on NFPA codes, fire safety systems, and industry trends
Qualifications
•3+ years of sales experience, preferably in fire and life safety, building services, or a technical service industry
•Strong understanding of service sales cycles and customer account management
•Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
•Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
•Familiarity with NFPA standards and fire protection systems is a strong plus
•Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
•Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client visits
