As we continue to grow our service portfolio, we’re seeking a driven and knowledgeable Service Sales Manager to lead business development and client retention efforts in the Philadelphia, PA market.
Position Overview:
The Service Sales Manager (Roofing) is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing service agreements, repairs, and small project opportunities for existing and prospective commercial clients. This role requires a strong background in commercial roofing, consultative sales skills, and a passion for helping clients extend the life of their roofing assets through proactive service and maintenance. You will work closely with operations and service technicians to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on service contracts, repairs, roof assessments, and preventative maintenance programs.
•Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, healthcare, retail, and education sectors.
•Conduct site visits, roof inspections, and condition assessments to build tailored service proposals.
•Prepare accurate scopes of work, estimates, and service agreements in collaboration with estimators and service team.
•Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication, follow-up, and issue resolution.
•Track leads, proposals, and performance metrics using CRM and internal tools.
•Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth hand-off and execution of service work.
•Stay informed on roofing technologies, warranty standards, and industry trends.
•Represent Nino Development professionally in the field and at industry/networking events.
Required Qualifications:
•3+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales, service sales, or roofing project management.
•Strong knowledge of low-slope commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, coatings, etc.).
•Ability to read and understand roofing plans, scopes, and warranty terms.
•Proven experience building relationships and closing deals in a B2B environment.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
•Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
•Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimating tools.
•Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client meetings and roof inspections.
