NOTE: This role requires relocation to Greensboro, NC. Relocation will be provided.
The primary purpose of the Service Manager is to coordinate and direct the execution of American Industrial’s service offerings.
Responsibilities:
•Plays an active part in the Safe work performance of the Team
•Reporting of all incidents and near misses as per the AIC Safety Management System
•Acts with integrity: does what he/she says he/she is going to do when he/she says he/she is going to do it

•Develops and maintains effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
•Facilitates scheduling of service calls that are not directly dispatched
•Heavy focus on customer service and delivery of product/service
•Responsible for working closely with other departments to ensure the proper transfer of all service work business data required for payroll, billing, accounts payable, vehicle management, and human resource management functions
•Review service tickets to ensure accuracy and that tasks were completed in a manner that achieves customer satisfaction and company profitability
•Keep up to date on new developments and trends in the industry
•Resolve customer complaints and disputes
•Works closely with the service team to identify opportunities for additional project work from our service customers
•Manages conflicts of Technician’s schedule
•Acts as the main point of contact for Project Managers for start-up work (including wiring)
•Manages start-up work through completion
•Monitors and ensures preventative maintenance compliance
•Assists in the billing processes for preventative maintenance agreements and service repair work
Qualifications:
•At least 2 years of Commercial / Industrial Service Management Experience -or- 5 years of relevant industry experience
•Working knowledge profit and loss statements
•Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
•Must have strong skillset in commercial HVAC products, installation, and mechanical understanding
•Strong understanding of HVAC functions, ductwork modifications and design
•Strong leadership skills and work ethic
•Excellent communication skills
•Exceptional initiative, execution and communication skills, both oral and written
•Exceptional analytical, motivational, and leadership skills
