This position is responsible for assisting Residential Solutions customers by phone with technical questions, concerns, claims and service requests for our 20 products & services. Responsibilities include dispatching of work orders to our vendor network of 100 service companies in four jurisdictions. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting program contractors, utility service delivery, Field Operation coordinators, field technicians by phone with customer program issues, resolving claims, & selling Residential Solutions programs and members of other departments within Duke Energy.
- Assist Residential Solutions department customers by phone with questions, claims, concerns and service requests.
- Dispatch contractor work orders.
- Responding to general questions from internal and external sources.
- Participating in special projects as assigned.
- High School/GED degree.
- In addition to required degree, 2 plus years related work experience.
- Associate's degree or
- Technical degree
- In addition to desired degree, 3 plus years related work experience.
- Virtual - Work will be performed from a remote location after the onboarding period. However, virtual employees should live within a reasonable commute to a Duke Energy facility.
