This position is responsible for processing, tracking, and reporting of all DR mandated programs, contractor workloads, transactions, and agreements; utilizing basic accounting and excel skills for accounts payable and processing contractor invoices.
In addition, this position will effectively handle customer phone calls, answering and evaluating dispatchable DSM customer calls and emails, including but not limited to: answering technical and program-related questions and troubleshooting electrical and/or appliance equipment problems. This position will accurately complete data input, customer credits, rebates, and reports.
This individual must exercise experience and judgment to complete tasks with 100% accuracy and attention to detail. The position is required to update SAP/C4C and IntelliSOURCE records from field orders completed and billed by contractors’ system wide. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including Saturday.
- Reconciling and processing contractor invoices.
- Managing basic Accounts Payable submission and reconciliation.
- Working with vendors to ensure appropriate paperwork and supporting documents received.
- Communicate with contractors regarding questions, corrections, payments.
- Audit contractor invoices, enter contractor billing and payment requests into Maximo billing system.
- Keep coordinators up to date on contractor issues.
- Review daily reports for exceptions that occurred during Back Office Automation.
- Understand errors and corrections in both IntelliSOURCE and SAP/C4C.
- Research invoices in Maximo and CAPS
- Handling general administrative duties as assigned.
- Participating in special projects as assigned.
- Assist field coordinators in finding customer data, i.e. kWh usage, bill inquiries, EWH activity.
- Responding to general questions from internal and external sources
- Responding to rebate status inquiries from internal and external sources.
- Responding to general questions from internal and external sources.
- High school diploma/GED degree
- In addition to high school diploma, two (2) years minimum related work experience
- Associates degree
- Prior administrative experience in a construction/contracting company or trade ally
- In addition to desired degree, 3 years related work experience
- Understanding of residential infrastructure like; electrical wiring, water heaters and heating & cooling systems.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to resolve customer escalations
- Preferred bi-lingual in English and Spanish
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including Saturday.
- Hybrid Mobility Classification – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a Duke Energy facility.
