Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator and/or Welder to join our dynamic team. This role involves the fabrication and assembly of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fabrication and welding techniques and be proficient in reading blueprints to execute projects effectively.
Duties
•
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications (CWB, ASME, API 650).
•
Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
•
Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications.
•
Operate forklifts and rigging equipment safely to move materials as needed.
•
Conduct quality checks using tape measures and other measuring tools to ensure precision in work.
•
Construct plate fabrications and other metal assemblies, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Skills
•
Proficient in fabrication techniques, including welding (MIG, TIG, or stick).
•
Strong ability to assemble various metal components accurately.
•
Experience with hand tools such as grinders, saws, and drills.
•
Familiarity with forklift operation and rigging practices.
•
Competent in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
•
Knowledge of custom fabrication processes is a plus.
•
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Interprovincial Red Seal Certification (or equivalent)

Pay: $43.93-$47.53 per hour
