The Senior Technical Professional – Asset Integrity and Corrosion Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical deliverables and activities on ongoing projects as it relates to cathodic protection, internal corrosion, AC/DC interference, and atmospheric corrosion. Responsible for independently applying advanced techniques and analysis within the discipline/project.
•Understanding of pipeline integrity and corrosion mechanisms.
•Develop and maintain cathodic protection technical specs and drawings.
•Develop and maintain internal corrosion procedures.
•Develop / maintain AC mitigation system technical specifications and drawings.
•Provide written reports, including data analysis, recommendations for mitigation and additional testing.
•Develop / maintain in-house 192 and 195 operations & maintenance and integrity management procedures
•Research and compile project related data as required by the project managers.
•Quality review production drawings for a variety of projects and project related data as required by the project managers to verify corrections are made within multiple CAD related software.
•Compiles information for client presentations, shop drawing review and contract administration.
•Perform field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
•Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
•Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines.
•Developing specifications as required for the project.
•Ensuring compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
