We are looking for a temporary Senior Tax Advisor to join our team for approximately 2 years. Reporting to the Financial Operations
& Controls Manager, you will be responsible for providing and overseeing the compliance of the enterprise with applicable tax
legislation and regulation. You will be responsible for monitoring proposed and enacted changes in tax legislation and the effect of
such changes on the operations of the enterprise. Written and verbal communication of tax application with clients, both internal and
external, is essential. The position requires a high level of specialized tax training with a major focus on sales and commodity taxes
and taxable benefits to employees, payroll, property, and other taxes. You will have strong analytical skills and will support all
departments in Manitoba Hydro in tax-related matters, including contract preparation, purchase orders, and implementation of
controls or procedures that facilitate the accurate application of taxation.
