Develop and deliver safety and technical training programs: Lead the creation, administration, and evaluation of comprehensive safety, technical, and human performance curricula for assigned disciplines, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
Manage apprenticeship program administration: Oversee indenturing processes, coordinate final written and oral examinations, maintain accurate records, and conduct hands-on assessments to drive apprentice development and certification.
Identify training gaps and influence program enhancements: Analyze existing curricula and performance data to pinpoint knowledge or skill deficiencies, then propose and secure approval for new or revised training initiatives.
Coordinate and facilitate all training activities: Direct scheduling, resource allocation, and delivery of workshops and on-the-job sessions, ensuring consistency, engagement, and quality across business partners.
Lead design and implementation of advanced training solutions: Drive the full lifecycle of training business solutions¿from needs assessment through pilot, rollout, and evaluation¿to optimize effectiveness for tenured associates.
Interpret and apply safety policies and regulations: Provide expert guidance on the application of safety manuals, organizational procedures, and external regulations to support compliance and risk mitigation for assigned partners.
Support incident investigation and analysis: Contribute technical expertise to the investigation of safety incidents and serious injury events, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Verify and enhance technical proficiency: Assist field supervisors in conducting observational assessments and performance evaluations to confirm employee competence and identify further development needs.
Conduct safety audits and compliance reviews: Plan and execute audits and safety observations, document findings, and track corrective actions to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
