Under the general direction of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program Department Manager, you will be responsible for
providing leadership, advisory, and facilitation services in the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of the
Corporation's ERM program, framework, and associated policies & processes. You will act as a key resource in supporting senior
management and the executive in adopting appropriate risk management practices that ensure key risks facing the Corporation are
appropriately identified, communicated and managed to acceptable levels and for providing expert advice and counsel in driving risk
informed decision making.
Responsibilities:
•Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in complex risk informed decision making across the enterprise relating to
identifying and prioritizing enterprise level risks, assessing risk, completing independent/objective evaluations of risk and
processes, and recommending improvements to the associated controls or business proposal considered.
•Work with cross-business unit team of professionals in executing the ERM program and achieving its objectives.
•Prepare comprehensive risk reports and insightful presentations for the Executive Leadership Team and Board level
committees, ensuring clear communication of enterprise risk and mitigation strategies.
•Lead the development of risk assessment and risk decision modelling to support identifying and responding effectively to
priority enterprise risks using quantitative and qualitative risk analysis.
•Cascade the enterprise risks down to business level risk registers and risk management processes and work with risk
champions within the business to manage this next level of risks to the enterprise.
•Lead the coordination across Business Units that are responsible for managing common risks by conducting regular
communications/meetings.
•Lead the development of a risk informed organizational culture through the implementation of the ERM framework within the
business, through specific communication campaigns or materials.
•Support the implementation of appropriate training and learning & development activities to improve risk knowledge across the
enterprise.
•Lead the implementation of enterprise risk management technology platform and roll out training program.
Qualifications:
•Four-year Bachelor Degree in business, economics, engineering, law or other relevant discipline from a university of
recognized standing and seven years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating the skills and competencies
required by this position.

•An equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Maintaining effective working relationships is key for the position and as such, demonstrated experience in developing

successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization is required.
•Proven experience in writing detailed reports and delivering impactful presentations with influence to senior leadership,
demonstrating strong analytical and communication skills.
•Experience in the area of enterprise risk management.
•Proven ability to successfully contribute to complex initiatives, projects and teams across a variety of different business areas.
•Insight into the strategic issues facing Manitoba Hydro and the electric and gas utility industry in general, with strong analytical
skills to understand and determine the implication of qualitative and quantitative information and data.
•Ability to perform in a coordinating role effectively and diplomatically.
•Broad understanding of Manitoba Hydro's governance, operations, financial health, regulatory environment and external
reporting requirements and the potential risks associated with each.
•Strong interpersonal attributes with the ability to work with and provide guidance to personnel at all levels in the Enterprise.
•A high degree of integrity, initiative, creativity and judgment, with proven ability to work independently under broad guidelines
and minimum supervision.
•Knowledge of the evolving ESG reporting requirements and integration with ERM is an asset.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $51.34-$70.34 Hourly,
$98,380.88-$134,784.78 Annually.
