Position Summary
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate service pricing processes to support Sales, Account Management, and Management teams. This role involves data analysis, market research, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and maintain profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Develop and adjust pricing strategies based on market trends, competitor analysis, and company goals.
•Conduct detailed data analysis to support pricing models and forecast revenue impacts.
•Research market trends and service parts for both PowerSecure and third-party manufactured products.
•Collaborate with Estimators and Procurement Specialists to provide profitable repair quotes.
•Maintain and update parts costing in the ERP system and pricing tools.
•Develop and maintain pricing models and tools for accurate service contract pricing.
•Track and report service contract profitability to leadership.
•Analyze existing contracts to support profitable renewals and new agreements.
•Identify and implement process improvements in pricing operations.
•Prepare and present pricing reports and recommendations to senior management.
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
•5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy, or related roles, preferably in a services organization.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce.com and ERP systems is a plus.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
•High energy, initiative, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
•Primarily office-based with occasional travel for meetings or market research.
•Manual dexterity required for operating office equipment.
•May require extended hours during critical business periods.
