We’re seeking a
Senior Operations Analyst to support and improve operational processes related to gas supply, transportation, and storage. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in Excel and data management. Energy or natural gas experience is a plus—but not required.· Analyze member demand, transportation agreements and storage contracts to appropriately nominate to meet forecast needs
· Monitor pipeline scheduled quantities and institute adjustments as necessary
· Monitor forecasts, actual usage, and maintain position reports daily
· Interact with member cities, coworkers, suppliers, pipelines on an ongoing timely basis
· Research and document transportation differences during monthly reconciliation
· Monitor pipeline bulletin board notices and handle adjustments to comply as necessary
· Ensure supporting pipeline and billing documentation aligns with internal reports and database
· Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related field (preferably business or other technical discipline)
· 5+ years of experience in gas transportation preferred.
· Advanced Excel skills (VBA, pivot tables, data modeling).
