Senior Oil & Gas Right of Way Agent

Job Overview

The Oil & Gas Right of Way Agent plays a crucial role in the acquisition and management of land rights for various projects. This position involves working closely with property owners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the negotiation and acquisition process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of real estate law, and the ability to conduct thorough research.

Duties

- Negotiate Right of Way Easement Agreements and Land Rights with property necessary for project development.

- Conduct title processing and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

- Research property records, zoning laws, and real estate regulations to support negotiations.

- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with real estate law and regulations.

- Provide exceptional customer service to property owners throughout the acquisition process.

- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze land use and property boundaries.

- Prepare reports, agent logs and documentation related to land acquisitions and negotiations.

- Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications.

Experience

- Previous experience Oil & Gas Right of Way Easement acquisition. Knowledge in survey plat reading and interpretation. Knowledge and understanding of real estate title is a must

- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex information effectively.

- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.

- Proficiency in GIS software is a plus.

- A background in negotiation.

- Strong interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $300.00 - $325.00 per day
