Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects according to specifications and within budget from initiation through completion. This role leads Joint Project Teams (JPTs), applying professional principles, practices, and techniques to manage project teams and control schedule, cost, and performance risk.

The Senior Project Manager ensures each project is completed within established constraints (e.g., time, budget, resources, quality, materials) and to a high standard of quality.

This position is typically assigned to large, multifaceted projects and serves as the single point of contact for all project matters, assuming leadership responsibility for safely managing the project.

Budget Responsibility:

- Capable of managing large project budgets over $25 million

- Managing a portfolio of projects with an aggregate value exceeding $75 million across all active assignments.

Required Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent education, training, and/or work experience required.

- Master’s degree preferred, but not required.

Certifications/Licenses:

- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) within one year of appointment to the Senior PM role.

- Additional professional certification/licensure (e.g., PE, CPA, CFP) preferred but not required
