The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience level ranging from $94,490 to $129,924.

Job Summary

Avangrid Service Company is seeking a Senior Meteorologist. This position is a key member of Avangrid’s Emergency Management Department supporting Avangrid’s preparedness to severe weather and climate change. As the leader of the department’s Weather Forecasting and Analytics Unit, this position works in a fast-paced environment where forecast accuracy and operational decision-making is critical to ensuring Avangrid’s Operating Companies are prepared for severe weather. This onsite in-office position, located within the Avangrid service territories, reports to the Director of Emergency Operations.
