Job Title: Senior Manager-Project Development & Asset Management
Reports to: Sr Director - Integrated System Planning
The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience level ranging from $152,000 to $190,654
The Senior Manager – Project Development & Asset Management position is responsible for developing and leading a diverse team of utility engineering experts tasked with the performance of comprehensive needs and solutions assessments to address a wide range of T&D reliability and infrastructure needs, as well as ensuring best in class asset management strategies and guidelines. It oversees the project development portfolio and asset management system, ensuring strategic alignment, effective resource allocation, risk mitigation, and financial oversight. The role fosters innovation, implements process improvements, leads talent acquisition, and develops succession planning strategies to build a high-performing team aligned with long-term organizational goals.
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
+ 10 years of practical experience and working knowledge across a broad range of T&D Power Systems including Planning, Engineering, Construction, or Operations.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and translate it into actionable strategies.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to various stakeholders.
+ Proven leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
+ Knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and emerging technologies in the energy and utilities sector.
+ Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques for identifying trends and insights.
+ Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
+ Proven capability of delivering against multiple targets.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills — strong team skills; ability to coach and teach others; desire to serve co-workers & customers.
+ Advanced computer literacy, including operation of office automation products (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
