POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Manager, Program Delivery & Partner Success will be responsible for ensuring the successful onboarding, engagement, and performance of key partner organizations that support Hanwha Qcells' Grid & Energy Services (G&ES) Department. This role will act as the primary liaison between G&ES and asset owner partners, facilitating the intake of program requirements, managing stakeholder engagement throughout program development, and leading training and operational support activities to ensure the long-term success of VPP and SREC programs. The role requires excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
This position will be based out of Irvine, San Francisco or Santa Clara, CA
RESPONSIBILITIES•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Management, Communications, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in partner management, program management, business development, or customer success roles, preferably within the energy, renewables, or DER sectors.
•Deep understanding of partner ecosystem management, incentive structures, and customer program design.
•Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
•Ability to manage multiple partner accounts and coordinate across diverse internal teams.
•Experience delivering training programs and creating training/support documentation.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address partner concerns efficiently and professionally.
•Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and innovation initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of experience in product management, solution engineering, or platform strategy roles within the energy, software, or utility sector.
•Proven track record of launching products or platforms for utility, grid services, or DER/VPP applications.
•Deep familiarity with ADMS, DERMS, or other utility grid operating systems.
•Experience working with utilities to co-develop or sell new use cases, pilot programs, or service solutions—not limited to software.
•Strong understanding of VPP operations, DER market participation, and E2E VPP lifecycle requirements.
•Experience writing BRDs/PRDs for energy or grid-focused digital platforms.
•Understanding of wholesale energy markets (e.g., CAISO, PJM, ERCOT) including market integration, scheduling, telemetry, and settlement.
•Knowledge of API integrations and data exchange standards with DER aggregators or energy market operators.
•Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Experience working with VPP (Virtual Power Plant), DER (Distributed Energy Resources), or energy incentive programs.
•Familiarity with U.S. utility markets, incentive program mechanics, and revenue share models.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience in structured program delivery.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
