Seattle City Light’s Engineering and Technology Operations Division (ETO) is seeking an experienced leader to be our next Network Distribution and Electrical Systems Engineering Senior Manager (Exec 2). In this position, you will provide management and leadership direction for the Network Distribution Engineering, Transmission Engineering, and Electrical Service Engineering teams, and serve as a key member of the management team at Seattle City Light. You will be accountable for performance of the following teams: Electrical Service Engineering, Network Engineering, and Transmission Engineering. You will directly manage four engineering supervisors and an indirect staff of 23 engineers. This position will report to the ETO Director.

A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related power engineering field.
Experience:
Substantial management and leadership experience in utility management, operations, engineering or related areas of responsibility, typically gained through eight or more years of progressively responsible assignments. A minimum of five years as a manager or supervisor in a large, complex multi-cultural and diverse organization managing technical personnel relating to design, development, and implementation of utility engineering work practices.
The chosen candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Electrical, Transmission and Distribution systems within the electric utility industry, as well as knowledge of federal and state regulations related to electric utility, construction and safety standards.

Additional Information
The full salary range for this position is $131,804.28to $222,413.76 annually.
