Reporting to the Director, Water Projects, the Senior Lead, Portfolio Management is responsible for reviewing, leading, and integrating the EVR projects portfolio to ensure alignment and support of the EVR Project Framework initiatives and goals. This includes developing project prioritization frameworks, assigning the inflow of projects, and identifying any cross portfolio impacting risks and opportunities.

- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Facilitate and apply the EVR Project Management Framework in business planning
- Develop and maintain a multi-year project roadmap aligned with operational plans
- Manage project intake and categorization through business planning and site collaboration
- Prioritize and organize project inflow, identifying interdependencies
- Support creation and optimization of a corporate resourcing plan for project and construction managers
- Interface with site teams to identify central support needs
- Maintain a list of external third-party reviewers
- Develop rolled-up project views and presentation materials for senior management
- Organize quarterly project reviews and summaries for EVR and Glencore leadership
- Identify risks and escalate issues to the Program Director
- Collaborate on long-term cost planning, ARO, RCLE updates, and water treatment costing inputs
- Assess and address gaps in project controls across corporate and operational sites
- Develop plans aligned with project control tools and support levels
- Explore and propose tools for cost control, estimating, and contingency planning (e.g., Cleopatra, @Risk)
- Leverage SAP for improved tracking and forecasting
- Maintain scheduling tools (P6, P6 SRA, MS Project)
- Evaluate and implement document control systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint)
- Standardize project controls with the Central Project team
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of ten years of work experience with a minimum of three years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including aspects of engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction; experience in a heavy industrial sector
- Eligible for, or working towards, registration with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite®: Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
- Project Management Professional designation would be considered an asset
