Senior Industrial Engineer

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This role is hybrid and requires working 3 days/week onsite.

Job Summary:

The Senior Industrial Engineer (Sr IE) supports and advances Operational Excellence throughout the Organization, utilizing intensive and diversified knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments, and leads initiatives to refine processes while reducing waste to yield efficiencies that deliver tangible benefits. The Sr IE uses advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices to resolve issues related to safety, compliance, quality, delivery and/or morale. The Sr IE observes the work, conducts time and motion studies, stratifies losses and performs root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. The Sr IE helps implement new and enhanced processes, technologies, policies, and standard work to deliver quality safely, in compliance and within cost and timeliness expectations.

Industrial Engineering Practices

Proficient in Microsoft platform software, good mathematical ands quantitative skill

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $ 45-60/hr
