Duties:

•

Oversee financial accounting for 3-5 renewable energy projects and/or tax equity partnerships, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.

•

Prepare and post month-end close entries for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with both U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

•

Participate in post-month-end close meetings with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to reconcile actual balances with forecasted figures and provide explanations for any variances.

•

Collaborate with asset managers to understand the financial impact of new project developments, update financial records accordingly, and maintain accurate trial balances.

•

Perform monthly IFRS reporting using consolidation system (Hyperion), ensuring data consistency between ERP system (SAP) and Hyperion.

•

Prepare quarter-end GAAP financial statements for tax equity partners and year-end GAAP financial statements in compliance with financial reporting standards in OneSource for financial audits.

•

Prepare and reconcile supporting schedules, such as property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) and equity roll forwards.

•

Conduct monthly reconciliations and controls with financial close management software (Cadency), ensuring proper documentation.

•

Monitor and resolve intercompany transaction discrepancies and update organizational changes within the ownership structure in SAP.

•

Work with the Land team to accurately record and report leasing activities in lease administration tool (Trullion) and SAP.

•

Optimize month-end closing and reporting processes by developing automated reports and reconciliations using SAP Excel integration tool (SAP Analysis for Microsoft Excel) as required.

•

May telecommute but must reside near Boston, MA, headquarters or Chicago, IL, office.

Requirements:

•

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in accounting or related field; plus 5 years of experience in job offered or as an accountant or auditor.

•

Requires knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls.

•

Also requires experience in public or private accounting; participating in the audit/review process; and using financial reporting tools, including SAP ERP, Hyperion, and Oracle SmartView.
