Key Responsibilities:


Cost Estimation:

Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and equipment costs based on the scope of work.
Use estimating software, spreadsheets, and other tools to prepare cost breakdowns.

Bid Preparation:

Prepare and submit bid proposals for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all project specifications.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and quotes for materials and services.

Project Analysis:

Analyze risks and uncertainties that could impact the project cost, such as market fluctuations or delays.

Proven experience in construction estimating, project management, or related roles.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProCore, Bluebeam).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and a strong understanding of construction processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as the Associate Estimating Professional (AEP) or Certified Professional Estimator (CPE).

Experience with large-scale commercial or residential projects.

Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with occasional site visits.
